Some call it showcase, other simply call it spring-cleaning. However, by digging and dusting through the darkest corners of the drawers, you sometimes, somehow and somewhere will come across a really great idea: a long-ignored idea that might have failed the club compatibility check then; or an idea that would not fit the label’s image and might have left the fans confused; or a rather different idea… The “Different” compilation is the result of the meticulous and thorough work by the Boxer crew, and otherness is its overriding principle. Different” is far from being just a hoarding of leftovers, it is rather conceived as a poison cabinet with doors wide open, a playground for free spirits and artists, and an open space far beyond the dance-floor dramaturgy and its rigid rules or common expectations. Gui Boratto, Kreidler, Extrawelt, Khan, Dusty Kid, Popof and Rodriguez Jr. are just a few artists to be mentioned who contributed exclusive tracks to this compilation. Our goal was to design something different with a slight flair of the well-know boxer identity. Thanks to the wonderful sketches of ‘Cinderella Bones‘ we created a stunning artwork for this release.
